Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in a K-8 school setting located in Yuma, AZ. The assignment runs from August 4, 2025, to May 27, 2026, and is an onsite role within a school district. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Arizona SLP Licensure
- Arizona Educational Certification for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with K-8 students preferred
- Ability to manage full-time caseload and collaborate with educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-8 within the school district
- Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate progress with educators, parents, and administrators
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with educational and clinical regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to student needs
