A part-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support K-12 students across multiple educational programs. This maternity leave contract runs from March 10, 2026, through September 6, 2026, serving a diverse caseload in a collaborative school setting in Morris, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services tailored to students with autism, multi-needs, and other individualized educational requirements
- Manage a caseload across several locations including Walnut Trails (Autism program), Minooka Central and South High Schools (REACH programs), and specialized cooperative centers
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to enhance student participation and success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all educational and therapy standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Illinois
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and multi-needs student populations
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and work effectively in a part-time capacity (approximately 14 hours per week)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
