Position Overview
We are seeking eight Special Education Teachers to support elementary students (K5) across multiple school sites in Ellicott City, MD. These are highly inclusive environments where teachers provide a blend of pull-out and push-in services, supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
Ideal candidates will have strong experience with behavior intervention plans (BIPs), collaboration with paras, and serving students with a wide range of cognitive and academic profiles.
Caseload Details

Caseload size ranges from 815 students, depending on the school

Primarily resource caseloads with both pull-out and in-class support

Many students have behavioral needs; BIP implementation experience strongly preferred

Some campuses have smaller caseloads of students with low cognitive profiles

Highly inclusive model students receive most services in the general education setting
