Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist holding a CCC certification to support a preschool-elementary population at an elementary school in Ellicott City, MD. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the educational development of young students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for speech and language disorders in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies to support students, with preferred experience in this area
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social progress
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged children in school settings
- Knowledge and experience with AAC techniques preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
