A specialized opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support early childhood evaluations within an elementary school setting in Ellicott City, MD. This contract position focuses on conducting assessments for young children as part of a Child Find Program, playing a vital role in identifying and addressing developmental needs for children ages 3 to 5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations for children aged 3 to 5 years.
- Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to interpret assessment results.
- Provide clear documentation and reports following evaluations.
- Contribute to early identification and intervention plans for young learners in the program.
- Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and program guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist license.
- Experience conducting assessments with early childhood populations preferred.
- Strong observational and diagnostic skills tailored to young children.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
Schedule and Location:
- Position located in Ellicott City, MD within an elementary school.
- Approximately 7 paid hours per day, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
- Contract duration through June 9th, with immediate start date.
