Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role supports speech and language development within an elementary school setting, focusing on a diverse caseload inclusive of center-based programming students. The position requires active Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) School Certification with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) expertise, including SLP credentials in schools and CCC certification.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to approximately 65 students, addressing a variety of communicative needs.
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to integrate therapy strategies within the classroom.
- Maintaining detailed records and progress reports for each students therapies and goals.
- Supporting students in both center-based and general education settings.
Qualifications and experience:
- Active MDE School Certification for SLP.
- Proven experience delivering speech-language services within a school environment.
- CCC certification preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively.
Location:
- Elementary school based in Saint Paul, MN.
Additional position available serving children from birth to age 2:
- Conducts therapy services in 15-18 different homes weekly.
- Caseload of approximately 12 children with developmental delays served under IFSP.
- Requires ability to provide family-centered care and case management.
Hours:
- Both positions require 37.5 hours per week.
