A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Minneapolis, MN, serving elementary-aged students in a school setting. This contract position runs from the start of the school year through the end of the school year, offering a consistent full-time schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support speech and language development for a caseload of approximately 65 students, including those in center-based programming
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and school guidelines
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance communication outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Active MDE School Certification for Speech-Language Pathology
- Credentials as a Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) Speech-Language Pathologist preferred
- Experience working with elementary school populations and knowledge of developmental speech and language disorders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Schedule and Location Details:
- Position based at an elementary school in Minneapolis, MN
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, weekdays from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
- Contract duration: Current school year (CSY)
Additionally, there is an opening for a Birth-to-2 SLP position, which involves providing speech and language services in approximately 15-18 homes weekly. This role includes case management for around 12 children served on Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), focusing on developmental delays rather than IEPs. This position follows a full-time 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. schedule through June 30, 2026.
