Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A physical therapy professional is needed to provide onsite PT services for a K-12 school setting in Irving, TX. This contract position is available immediately and continues through the end of the school year (CSY), supporting three students across multiple campuses.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions to support the functional and developmental needs of students
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including educators and other therapists to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff to promote student success
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed physical therapist with experience working in school settings
- Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles and K-12 educational environments
- Ability to manage a small caseload efficiently while tailoring therapy to individual student goals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary for collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
