A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Lewisville, TX, supporting elementary schools within a dynamic school district. This contract role covers two maternity leaves across two school terms, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young students' communication development.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to students from PreK through 5th grade, with caseloads of 53 and 48 students across two elementary schools. The role requires working onsite full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with some duties split between multiple campuses. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and maintain accurate documentation to support student progress.
Ideal candidates will hold an active state license and prefer SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Candidates who are Clinical Fellows must have supervision arrangements confirmed prior to starting, as onsite supervision is not provided by the district. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload across different school settings are essential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active State Speech-Language Pathology license
