A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position at an elementary school in Simi Valley, CA. This onsite role involves providing speech therapy services with a focus on early childhood development in a preschool setting. The assignment runs from the start date ASAP through June 5, 2025.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 preschool-aged students.
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication development.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Valid California Teaching Credential (CTC) required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as an SLP preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with preschool and elementary-aged children.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
- Onsite at the school location.
