A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school-based settings is needed to support K-12 students in Nashua, NH. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to work closely with educators and families to enhance students' communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adapt interventions
- Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports in compliance with educational standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid, current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings
- Strong knowledge of typical speech and language development and disorders in children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and educators
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate records
