A K-12 educational setting in Pittsford, NY, is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025-2026 school year contract. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a diverse district-wide setting, supporting students aged 3 to 22, from early childhood through young adulthood. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students K-12, addressing a range of communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with educational and licensure standards
- Participate in meetings, screenings, and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State SLP license (required for consideration)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility preferred; newly certified candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children, including a broad age range from 3 to 22 years old
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to student-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration
Position Details:
- Location: Rochester, NY (District-wide)
- Work Hours: Up to 7 hours per day paid; 7.5-hour day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, during the school year (September 2, 2025, to June 26, 2026)
