Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for three onsite Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CF), to provide services within a K-12 school setting. The position is district-wide, serving a diverse caseload of students ranging from ages 3 to 22. This contract role spans the current school year, with a start date of September 2, 2025, and an end date of June 26, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across grades K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in district-wide meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but recent graduates pursuing clinical fellowship status welcome
- Experience working in educational settings with children and young adults aged 3-22
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain detailed documentation
Location: Rochester, NY
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 7 hours paid per day; 7.5 hours on site with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
