A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a contract position in a K-12 setting serving students ages 3-22. This district-wide role provides essential speech and language services to a diverse caseload across multiple school locations. The position is designed for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows, offering an excellent opportunity to gain or expand expertise in educational speech therapy.
Location: Webster, NY
Start Date: September 2, 2025
End Date: June 26, 2026
Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 7 hours paid per day; 7.5-hour workday including a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students aged 3-22 in a school district setting
- Administer assessments and evaluate communication disorders to guide individualized interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations governing school-based therapy
- Attend district meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist eligible to practice in New York State (license required for consideration)
- Clinical Fellowship Candidates (CF) are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-age children and adolescents
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle caseloads involving a variety of speech and language disorders
