A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Saint Paul, MN. This contract position spans the full school year (NSY) and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on children's communication development throughout their academic journey.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing SLP services within K-12 educational settings
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for diverse student populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and other educational staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations
