This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers a contract opportunity working with K-12 students in multiple schools located in Bradenton, FL. The role involves providing speech and language services across three school sites, supporting diverse caseloads that include general education and specialized programs.

Duration: Contract through the current school year (CSY)
Start Dates:
- Sugg Middle School: January to May 28, 2026
- Blackburn Elementary: Immediate start to April 2026 (maternity leave coverage)
- Abel Elementary or Abel/Tillman Elementary: March to May 28, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to approximately 60 students at Sugg Middle School, including support for a self-contained/cluster program for Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD)
- Serve students at Blackburn Elementary during maternity leave coverage, collaborating with one SLP and a part-time SLPA
- Cover full-time SLP responsibilities at Abel or Abel/Tillman Elementary as the current SLP transitions out of state
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language impairments within the school setting
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation consistent with school district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Florida state license as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but new graduates (CFY) will be considered
- No SLP assistant roles will be accepted at this time
- Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings is highly desirable
