A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at multiple K-12 schools in Bradenton, FL, serving students from elementary through middle school. This contract position runs through the current school year, offering the chance to provide vital speech and language services across diverse educational settings.
Locations and Timelines:
- Sugg Middle School: January to May 28, 2026 (approximate caseload of 60 students, including a self-contained/cluster program for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders)
- Blackburn Elementary: Immediate start until April 2026, covering maternity leave; working alongside another SLP and a part-time SLPA
- Abel Elementary or Abel/Tillman Elementary: March to May 28, 2026, filling a vacancy due to relocation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students with varied communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida SLP license (required)
- Candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-age children preferred; skills in managing caseloads within educational settings
