Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive therapy services for students in a K-12 school setting in Fortson, GA. This contract position offers a Full School Year (CSY) commitment, starting as soon as possible through May 21, 2026, with full-time hours (37.5 hours per week).
Location: Fortson, GA
Job Duration: Contract - Full School Year (ASAP - May 21, 2026)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 35-40 students, covering at least two schools, ages K-12
Direct Services: The SLP will provide all direct therapy services and may supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or SLP-Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate, depending on district needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator certification
- Experience providing speech therapy in K-12 school settings
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 40 students
- Strong skills with direct therapy, caseload management, and supervision of support personnel
- VOCO (Verification of Clinical Competence Opportunity) candidates are encouraged to apply

- Deliver individualized therapy services to students in accordance with district goals and state requirements
- Assess, plan, and implement treatment strategies targeted at improving communication skills
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
- Potentially supervise SLPA or SLP-CFY personnel
