Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a contracted Occupational Therapist providing onsite services to elementary schools in Andover, MN, covering a maternity leave from late February through early June 2026. The position supports students within multiple elementary school settings, requiring flexibility to commute between sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students within the assigned schools.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Provide support to integrate students' therapy goals within the classroom environment.
- Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license suitable for school-based practice.
- Experience working in school environments, preferably with elementary students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfort with traveling between multiple schools within the district.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
Location & Schedule:
- Based in Andover, MN, servicing Monroe, Lincoln, and Evergreen Elementary Schools.
- Monday through Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration: February 20, 2026, to June 5, 2026.
