Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting. The role is based onsite in Willis, TX, and is a very part-time contract position running through May 22, 2026. The focus will be on completing three evaluations by February 13th, with additional responsibilities including observations, report writing, and parent communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and complete three occupational therapy evaluations by mid-February
- Observe students to assess needs and progress
- Prepare detailed reports based on observations and evaluations
- Communicate effectively with parents to discuss student progress and therapy goals
- Maintain compliance with school and state regulations for occupational therapy services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license required, with School OT experience preferred
- Previous K-12 school experience or familiarity with school-based therapy settings
- Strong evaluation, observation, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for parent collaboration
- Ability to work onsite with flexibility to manage a limited caseload
