Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position provides maternity leave coverage at an elementary school located in Spring, TX. The contract runs from January 5, 2026, through April 17, 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to support a diverse student population during a critical period.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to approximately 100 students.
- Conduct evaluations and deliver individualized interventions according to student needs.
- Supervise a bilingual SLP Assistant who works onsite three days per week.
- Attend Scheduled Individual (SI) Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings as required.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements and educational regulations in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP required).
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and supervise support staff.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates will be considered.
