A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Morgan Hill, CA, offering an engaging opportunity to support elementary students with speech and language needs. This contract role runs through the current school year, concluding in early June 2026. The role requires an experienced professional licensed in California, with credentials recognized by ASHA and the appropriate educator certification.
Responsibilities include planning and implementing intensive individualized speech and language programs tailored to students facing multiple handicapping conditions. The SLP will perform evaluations, maintain detailed clinical records, and communicate progress and recommendations to instructional staff and parents to facilitate student success. This position demands on-site attendance to provide direct therapy and support to students.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) with California licensure
- Valid educator credential as required for school settings
- Skilled in conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
- Experience working with students with diverse and multiple handicapping conditions
