A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Gilroy, CA. This contract position runs through June 4, 2026, supporting the schools speech therapy program with a weekly commitment of 30 hours.
Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and reimbursement requirements, performing clerical duties such as record keeping, maintaining anecdotal notes, charts, and student progress data. The role also involves assisting in preparing therapy materials, maintaining therapy equipment, and supporting informal documentation and data collection to monitor program quality. Participation in IEP meetings or planning sessions is expected when appropriate. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred to support diverse student needs.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California SLPA license required
- Experience working in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and caseload
