Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support for students from kindergarten through 12th grade in multiple school settings, including elementary, middle, and high schools. This contract position runs through the current school year, ending in late May, with assignments varying between full-time and part-time roles based on school and grade levels.
Location: Winter Garden, FL area
Assignment Dates: Immediate start through May 29, 2026
Setting: K-12 schools with options for on-site or hybrid work arrangements
Caseload: Students across diverse age groups requiring tailored speech and language interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies and ASHA standards
- Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 grade levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
