Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support for students in PreK through 2nd grade at a K-12 school located in Clermont, FL. This is a contract position for the current school year, with an expected assignment start as soon as possible and continuing through late May 2026. The role is full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, working on-site to deliver direct therapy and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide therapy services to help children improve communication skills and overcome speech challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by the school and licensing authorities.
- Comply with all professional standards and maintain up-to-date Florida Department of Health licensure.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a Professional Speech Language Pathologist license, with Florida Department of Health licensure required.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, ideally within PreK to early elementary grades.
- Strong assessment and treatment skills in pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bilingual skills are valued but not mandatory.
