A specialized Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for an Elementary School setting in Kent, WA, to provide services during the Extended School Year (ESY). This contract position offers an opportunity to support students communication development in a focused academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students.
- Assess, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans to address speech and language challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).

- Proven ability to work effectively with children in an educational environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel.
- Familiarity with educational regulations and protocols relevant to ESY services.
