Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An immediate need exists for a licensed Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school setting. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse split caseload encompassing both traditional elementary students and those on the autism spectrum. Located in Newark, DE, this contract role runs through June 12, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Delaware SLP license (required)
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly elementary schools
- Familiarity with caseloads involving traditional and autism-focused services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educational teams
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, onsite only
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language therapy sessions tailored to students individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with state and district policies related to special education services
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite role within an elementary school in Newark, Delaware
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday
