Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services at an elementary school located in New Castle, DE. This position involves a split caseload supporting both traditional and autism programs within a school setting. The assignment will run through June 12, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students on the caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-focused educational planning
- Adhere to all Delaware state licensure and school district regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid, active Delaware SLP license required
- Experience working as an SLP within school settings, preferably with both traditional and autism student populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention strategies, and documentation for school-based speech therapy
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite presence
