Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist position is available for the 20252026 school year at a K-12 public school located in Fabens, TX. This contract role offers an opportunity to support students academic, social, and emotional needs within a responsive and decisive school district known for efficient hiring processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention to students
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to a positive school climate
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and educators
