A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic K-12 educational setting located in Fort Bliss, TX. This position is contracted through the school year with flexible consideration for part-time candidates who can commit to full days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective interventions.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Monitor and report student progress while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) is required.
- Proven ability to work effectively with K-12 students across diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel.
- Experience with both monolingual and bilingual populations is a plus.
