A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in an elementary school setting in Yuma, AZ. This contract role runs through May 27, 2026, supporting students from kindergarten through 8th grade, with a caseload of approximately 52 students. The SLPA will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to aid in the identification and treatment of students with communication disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the assessment and identification of students who have communication challenges.
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Support students to improve their communication skills and reduce barriers to academic success.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and administrative requirements.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the instructional process.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona SLPA license.
- Completion of an IVP fingerprint clearance card.
- Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.

- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively.
