A Middle School Social Worker position is available in Warwick, RI for the remainder of the current school year. This part-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to provide impactful direct services and support to middle school students, helping meet their social, emotional, and behavioral needs within the educational environment.

Position Details:
- Duration: January 5, 2026 June 15, 2026
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 2-3 full days per week, 7:30 AM 3:00 PM
- Caseload: Supporting middle school students with direct social work services
- Contract role with one position available
Qualifications:
- Active State Social Worker license, required
- Valid Educator License for the state, required
- Experience working as a social worker in school settings, preferably with middle school students
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and community resources
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to address student emotional and behavioral concerns
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Facilitate referrals to outside agencies and community support services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation consistent with school policies and ethical standards
