Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K-12 school setting located in Pearland, TX. This contract position spans the current school year and involves managing an important caseload within the school environment.
The caseload currently includes approximately 160 students, with about 30 students identified for speech-only services. The SLP appointed to this role will serve as the case manager for these 30 speech-only students. Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations and preparing Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, with an emphasis on assessing students who may be ready for dismissal. The SLP Assistant will provide direct therapy services, allowing the SLP to concentrate on evaluation and case management tasks.
