Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support a diverse K-12 student population across multiple campuses in Mansfield, TX. This itinerant role involves providing comprehensive psychological services within one high school, one middle school, one intermediate school, and three elementary schools during the 2025-2026 school year contract.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct all psychological evaluations, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) as part of the initial assessments.
- Perform counseling evaluations and collaborate with Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) who provide consult counseling services.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings primarily when cases are controversial or when parents express disagreement; mandatory attendance at Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs) is required.
- Manage caseload and services efficiently across assigned schools, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and compliance with school policies.
- Provide recommendations and collaborate with educational staff to support individualized student needs.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience working in K-12 school environments, ideally within an itinerant role covering multiple campuses.
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and consultation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to diverse student needs.
Location: Mansfield, TX (on-site only)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5-hour days)
