A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support students across six schools within a K-12 district in Fort Worth, Texas. This contract position spans the current school year from January through May, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) as part of initial assessments.
- Perform counseling evaluations and provide consultative counseling services in collaboration with Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs).
- Participate selectively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, focusing on cases that involve controversy or parental disagreement, and attend Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs).
- Manage an itinerant caseload across six schools, including one high school, one middle school, one intermediate school, and three elementary schools.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or an Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations across diverse school levels.
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, consultation, and evaluation.
- Ability to manage multiple school locations efficiently in an itinerant capacity.
