Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support a K-12 district in the Fort Worth, TX area. This contract role spans from early January through late May, providing critical psychological services across multiple campuses. The position focuses primarily on elementary students with some middle school cases and involves evaluating and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairment (OHI), including ADHD assessments, direct services, and development of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students.
- Provide direct psychological services including counseling and intervention.
- Develop and implement FBAs and BIPs tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student success.
- Manage a caseload itinerating between five campuses, focusing on both elementary and middle school populations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, especially those with AU, ED, and OHI.
- Strong assessment skills including ADHD evaluations.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple schools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location:
- On-site work based in Fort Worth, Texas.
- Itinerant role serving five schools within the district.
