Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services in an elementary school setting located in Peoria, AZ. This full-time contract position runs through the current school year and offers the chance to work with K-8 students in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to K-8 students
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Manage a caseload within an itinerant service delivery model
- Collaborate with school staff to support student development and participation
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy license
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card must be included with application materials
- Prior experience in a school-based occupational therapy role preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy practices and educational intervention strategies
Location and Schedule:
- Position based onsite within an elementary school in Peoria, AZ
- Full-time hours, approximately 37.5 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
