This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist serving students in grades pre-K through high school within a K-12 school setting in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The position offers both full-time and part-time contract options during the current school year, running through May 29, 2026. Candidates must hold an active North Carolina license and possess comprehensive experience working with pediatric populations across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to diverse student caseloads including elementary, middle, and high school students
- Deliver onsite therapy services in compliance with educational and state guidelines (100% onsite work)
- Supervise at least one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting in alignment with school policies
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathology license
- Experience working in school settings, preferably K-12
- Ability to provide services across a broad age range, from pre-kindergarten through high school
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, especially for part-time roles serving pre-K and elementary students
- Proven skills in supervising SLPAs effectively
Schedule Options:
- Full-time: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Part-time: Two days per week with flexibility in scheduling for younger students (pre-K and elementary)
