A part-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available at an elementary school in Cranston, RI. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 15, 2026, supporting mainly Pre-K students with occasional services for grades 1-3. The schedule requires two days per week, with flexibility needed regarding which days worked, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students, primarily Pre-K with some support to grades 1-3
- Adapt to potential caseload adjustments as needed throughout the contract
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license valid in Rhode Island
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Ability to manage changing caseloads and maintain flexibility in scheduling
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and students
