An Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting for the current school year. This contract position is based in Hilton Head Island, SC, serving elementary and middle school students across two campuses.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students' individual educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement therapy plans
- Assess student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate interventions for elementary and middle school students
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
