Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support student development within an educational setting. This role involves working with school-aged children to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, contributing to their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on student performance
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs to discuss student goals and progress
- Travel as required to various school locations within the designated area
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work collaboratively with school staff
- Willingness to travel between school sites as needed
