A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school located in Metairie, LA. This contract role runs from the start date through May 22, 2026, supporting primarily elementary schools on the west bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site speech-language pathology services to K-12 students according to individual education plans.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support students communication and learning goals.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to meet state and school requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with children in school settings is highly desirable.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday aligned with the school calendar.
