A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to support school-aged children in an educational setting located in Durham, NC. This role involves travel between various school sites to provide comprehensive therapy services tailored to students individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students functional abilities and develop personalized intervention plans.
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions aimed at improving fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) credential in the relevant state.
- Experience working with children in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school locations.
