Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position supports K-12 students within a public school district in the Raleigh area. The role is primarily based on-site with some flexibility for tele-supervision, providing services to middle and elementary school students. The contract runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026, with a typical workweek of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students at Rolesville Middle School and assist caseloads at Pleasant Union Elementary and Harris Creek Elementary.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school-based service standards.
- Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development to meet the district's education requirements.
- Support speech and language development goals in alignment with student needs.
Qualifications:
- Current professional license in speech-language pathology.
- Valid educator certificate appropriate for school-based therapy services.
- Experience working in K-12 school settings, including knowledge of IEP processes and school-based service delivery.
- Ability to effectively engage with children across elementary and middle school grades.
- Tele-supervision credentials or willingness to participate if needed.
Location: On-site preferred in Cary, North Carolina, with openness to virtual supervision arrangements.
