Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students in school environments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in school meetings and communicate effectively with staff and families.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current state credentials.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with children of various ages and abilities.
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development.
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
