A healthcare professional with expertise in Occupational Therapy is needed to support educational programs within schools. This position involves providing therapy services to students in a school setting, helping them develop or regain essential skills for academic success and daily living.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments to identify students occupational therapy needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records
- Traveling between schools as required within the designated area
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license or certification
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule with travel components
- Commitment to supporting the educational and developmental goals of children
