A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in a school setting. This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech and language support, facilitating student communication development throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in meetings, including IEP (Individualized Education Program) sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Experience in school-based speech therapy or K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of current speech and language therapies appropriate for children and adolescents.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
