Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) skilled in supporting K-12 students within a school setting. The role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services tailored to the unique needs of children across grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students communication skills
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably K-12 environments
- Strong understanding of educational regulations and IEP processes
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
