A K-12 school in Denver, CO is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student communication needs throughout the current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with diverse learners and make a meaningful impact on their academic progress and social development.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with relevant experience in school settings
- Possession of a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in K-12 students
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Effective communication skills and collaboration experience with educators, families, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students as needed
- Develop individual education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy to students both individually and in small groups
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
