A well-established middle school in the Aurora, CO area is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the 2025-2026 school year contract. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting students communication needs within an educational setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy to students between the ages served by a middle school setting.
- Managing a caseload that typically ranges between 25 and 45 students.
- Collaborating with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Providing services on-site; no virtual or hybrid options available.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLP licensure.
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required; candidates with 0-2 years may apply.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to on-site, in-person therapy sessions.
Position details:
- Location: Columbia Middle School, east side of Denver.
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined.
- Contract dates: January 7, 2026 through May 21, 2026.
- This is a contracted, onsite assignment with no remote work options.
